A Malaysian Who Was At The Sri Petaling Mosque Event Has Now Tested Positive For COVID-19
The event, a tabligh assembly, was attended by roughly 10,000 people from various countries. The number of Malaysians who attended the event is believed to be more than 5,000 people.

A Malaysian who attended a tabligh gathering at Jamek Sri Petaling Mosque in Kuala Lumpur has now tested positive for COVID-19
According to Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the 60-year-old Malaysian man participated in the ijtimak tabligh gathering for three days between 28 February to 1 March.
The patient started having symptoms of fever, cough, and flu on 4 March before experiencing breathing difficulties on 8 March and was subsequently admitted at Hospital Bentong on the same day.
As of 9.30pm last night, 11 March, Dr Noor Hisham said that the patient is referred to as case-131.

"The COVID-19 detection test taken for this patient was confirmed positive on 10 March. He was already isolated and is currently receiving treatment," Dr Noor Hisham added.
According to the Minister of Health, the event, a tabligh assembly, was attended by roughly 10,000 people from various countries between 27 February to 1 March.
The number of Malaysians who attended the event is believed to be more than 5,000 people.
All 10,000 attendees have since been asked to immediately get tested for COVID-19.
