A close to four-minute video, which has since gone viral, captured the vehicle passing landmarks such as Dataran Maybank in Bangsar and the NPE toll
New Straits Times reported that the 4.30am incident was recorded by a motorcycle pillion rider who was on the correct side of the road.
The rider could be heard in the background reading out the Myvi's registration plate
During the incident, one of the motorcycle riders was heard yelling to get the Myvi driver's attention but was ignored.
The video ends with the car speeding off, leaving the motorcycle trailing behind.
It is unclear why the unidentified driver was driving on the wrong side of the road
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Zulkefly Yahya told Harian Metro, "We have received no report on the incident."
