PORT KLANG: Pirates, armed with pistols and parangs, robbed a Japanese oil tanker before kidnapping three of its crew at 21.8 nautical miles off Tanjung Karang near here on Tuesday.

Naniwa Tanker Company That Owns The Naniwa Maru 1 Vessel Has Lodged A Police Report In Johor

Checks with ship tracking websites found that the tanker, which has a gross tonnage of 2,991 tonnes, is owned by the Naniwa Tanker company, based in Japan.
