The last missing victim of the Batang Kali tragedy was finally found at 4.53pm today, 24 December

According to Bernama, the body of 11-year-old Eng Shao Qi was recovered in Sector A of the landslide site.

A few minutes later, a police truck carrying the victim's remains was seen leaving Father's Organic Farm, where the calamity struck, to make its way to Sungai Buloh Hospital for a post-mortem, reported a Buletin TV3 journalist.

A video of the moment shows members of the media clapping and cheering for the rescue workers who worked tirelessly to bring all the missing campers home.

The Star reported that Hulu Selangor district police chief Supt Suffian Abdullah will hold a press conference later.

It was previously reported that the last victim was a Year 5 student from SJKC Mun Choong.

The landslide also claimed the lives of the boy's sister, who goes to the same primary school, and their father Gary Eng, who is the owner of the school canteen.
