Malaysian Guy Who Feeds Refugees In Greece Sends SOS To Ellen DeGeneres
It's not just Ellen, you can help out too!
Awhile back, we did a story on Rayyan Haries, a 25-year-old Malaysian foodie who's currently based in Lesbos, Greece - serving food to Syrian refugees
Rayyan, has been volunteering since 2013. His first volunteering stint was in the Philipines after Typhoon Haiyan struck.
Rayyan has set up a makeshift kitchen along the shores of Lesbos, Greece to feed up to 2,000 refugees a day
Haries operates a modest makeshift kitchen in Skala Sikaminea, a small coastal village on Lesbos island that receives upwards of 2,000 refugees a day.

"Like many other big NGOs, everyone is winter-proofing their camp and workstation. Fortunately for them, they have money and I don't. We don't have that much money nor resources to make our kitchen winter proof, we don't have a high-end kitchen, but we have a strong resilient heart and passion to keep feeding people," said Rayyan.
So, what does he do? Being a huge Ellen DeGeneres fan, Rayyan is seeking help from the talk-show host in a Facebook video in hopes to reach out to her for much needed funs. WATCH:
In the 1-minute long video, Rayyan tells of his love for Ellen and how he inspired him. He got slightly emotional when he talked about his predicament - the need to winter-proof his kitchen so he can continue feeding refugees.
