Earlier today, 6 December, a fire broke out at the Ministry of Finance
The fire broke out at the ministry at 2.30pm, according to the Putrajaya fire and rescue department.
According to Free Malaysia Today, a Ministry of Finance spokesperson has since confirmed the incident. The spokesperson said that the ministry will issue a statement shortly.
The fire was caused by solid waste at a dump site nearby
"The fire was caused by solid waste at a dump site. It was contained and there were no casualties," Free Malaysia Today quoted a source at the Putrajaya fire and rescue department as saying.
