Tun Daim Zainuddin passed away this morning, 13 November
The former finance minister was 86 years old.
He served under Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad from 1984 to 1991 and again from 1999 to 2001.
His lawyer, Gurdial Singh Nijar, confirmed the matter
"Yes. Confirmed his passing on. Funeral this morning," Gurdial told Malaysiakini.
"He had a stroke recently and was in the intensive care unit. No further details yet," he added.
