Hassan Salip, 46, was found unconscious at 3.45pm by a policeman who was tasked with taking him to the Tapah Prison after he was found guilty in court of not having an identity card and drug abuse.
thesundaily.myHe said the detainee was from Sabak Bernam, Selangor and had been in the lock-up since Sept 3. He said the case has been classified as sudden death and the body has been taken to HTI for a post-mortem today. He said police were investigating the cause of death.
