Terengganu Wants Mums To Give Birth To More Than 12 Babies. They'll Get A Reward Too
"We want a mother to deliver more than 12 babies," said Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman.
In a bid to increase the state's population and achieve a developed state status, the state government of Terengganu is planning to implement certain measures to encourage its people to have large families
To encourage couples in the state to increase the size of their families, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said that the state government will reward those who have more children.
"For example, we want a mother to deliver more than 12 children," he said.
"This is because we have a relatively low population of 1.1 million. So, we are encouraging the people in the state to increase the number of their family members and we will reward them," he explained.
