It appears that the Twitter account of IGP Khalid was hacked

Yes! Malaysiakini reported that police are investigating the hack.

The IGP's Twitter account was promoting Ray-Ban sunglasses at a promotional price of USD24.99, apparently without his consent

"I understand it was hacked using an overseas server. It is still under investigation," Bernama reported deputy inspector-general of police Noor Rashid Ibrahim as saying.

Although, a check by SAYS to look for the purported Rayban tweet yielded no result on either Khalid's or anywhere else on Twitter

A user comment, posted on Malaysiakini's Facebook page, however, suggested that the IGP's account might not have been hacked. As Khalid, the user comment said, must have signed up on some website using his twitter account and in doing so, might have given the site to post on his behalf, therefore resulting in the promotional tweet.
