His statement came shortly after Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali and Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal made similar statements

Khairuddin, who was Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister under Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's administration, called the special Cabinet this morning "the final Cabinet meeting".

"Alhamdulillah. The last Cabinet meeting of the PN (Perikatan Nasional) government ended this morning," he wrote in a Facebook post.

"The Prime Minister will leave to address the Yang di-Pertuan Agong."

Wan Ahmad, who is Bersatu Youth chief as well as Deputy Youth and Sports Minister in Muhyiddin's administration, also posted a farewell post.

"We stand tall and proud of you Tan Sri President. Thank you for your service and leadership. We'll come back stronger, Insha-Allah," he wrote on Facebook.

Their statements came ahead of the expectation that Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will be stepping down from the Prime Minister post

Muhyiddin left the Istana Negara at 1.02pm today after having an audience with the Agong for about 40 minutes, reported New Straits Times.

It is alleged that he will hold a press conference at 3pm today, but SAYS could not verify this at the time of publication.
