Khairy Has Been Appointed As The New Health Minister
Previously, the portfolio was held by Dr Adham Baba under Muhyiddin Yassin's administration.

Khairy Jamaluddin is Malaysia's new Health Minister
The former coordinating minister of the National Immunisation Programme (PICK) under Muhyiddin Yassin's administration will now handle the portfolio that was previously handled by Dr Adham Baba.
Meanwhile, Adham has been given the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), previously held by Khairy
The two have basically switched roles.
During his time as the Health Minister, Adham had been controversial due to several gaffes.
Among his first such gaffes included him claiming that drinking warm water can kill the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 because the virus "doesn't like heat".
