A Malaysian man, Herman Rawi, recently shared on TikTok about his emotional encounter with a homeless man in Masjid Jamek, Kuala Lumpur

In the one-minute clip, Herman wrote that he saw the man approaching several cars in front of him while asking for some food.

After failing to get any, he finally approached Herman's car, and the driver proceeded to give him an apple.

His daughter, who was sitting in the back seat of the car, asked Herman, "Who's that?"

"Somebody who's asking for food," he replied.

Herman said that, at that moment, he figured that the man must have been starving.

"I mean, look at the way he looked at it," he wrote in the video.

The man then sat on the side of the street and took a bite of the apple, and seeing how much he enjoyed the fruit made Herman break down in tears in his car.

"What is happening?" his daughter asked.

"Maybe he hasn't eaten food for so long," Herman replied.

Netizens were touched by the video and left positive comments

One user commented that the video inspired them to always bring extra food in their car.
