With its vibrant culture and iconic landmarks, Kuala Lumpur has secured 18th place in a UK survey ranking the 37 best cities of the year

According to the ranking published by Daily Mail, Kuala Lumpur was featured as one of Britons' favourite cities outside of Europe.

The ranking was done based on the feedback from over 1,800 UK respondents reflecting on their travel experiences over the past three years.

These included the quality of food and drink, the cultural sights and tourist attractions, ease of transportation, and currency value.

Kuala Lumpur secured its position based on a comprehensive score derived from both overall satisfaction and the likelihood of recommending the city as a preferred destination.

Based on the survey, Malaysia's capital city earned four stars for its quality of food and drink, accommodation, shopping, and currency value.

The city achieved a two-star rating for ease of getting around and the lack of crowds, while cultural sights and tourist attractions were awarded three stars.

Overall, Kuala Lumpur obtained an impressive 75% score, outperforming notable destinations like Los Angeles and Las Vegas, which found themselves in the bottom three of the rankings.
