Two Lanes Of Jalan Mahameru Reopened To Traffic Following Landslide
Two of the three lanes of Jalan Mahameru heading from the direction of Parliament building to the Putra World Trade Centre were reopened to traffic on 8 Jan 2014 after the stretch of road was closed following a landslide near Bukit Tunku.

"For tonight, DBKL will open only two lanes there (KL-bound) and my department will be monitoring the situation from time to time. They will also make road realignments and according geological experts, there is still earth movement," he told reporters at the scene.

City Hall deputy director-general (project implementation and maintenance) Datuk Najib Mohd said the council had been carrying out the work there since October 7 and it was unfortunate that a landslide had occurred before the work was completed, "We have been carrying out remedial work as the slope is weak and there is a drainage problem,” he said.

The Road Affected By The Landslide Yesterday Was Re-Opened To Traffic About 11PM On Tuesday, 7 Jan 2014
The stretch of road affected by a landslide along the Mahameru Highway was fully re-opened to traffic at about 11pm Tuesday. Workers from the relevant authorities took over five hours to clear the debris which forced the road to be closed from 5.30pm.
