Lim Guan Eng Is Our New Finance Minister

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir has announced Lim Guan Eng as the new Finance Minister under the new Pakatan Harapan government
Along with announcing that the DAP secretary-general will helm the Finance Ministry, PM Tun Dr Mahathir also announced two other ministers.
He named PPBM president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the Home Minister and Parti Amanah Negara president Mohamad Sabu a.k.a. Mat Sabu as the Defence Minister.
What about the other ministries?
While Tun Dr Mahathir was expected to announce 10 cabinet ministries in total, he said that the seven other ministers would be announced after the four parties in PH submit three names from each party for consideration to the Prime Minister
“We have not named the seven other ministers.
“We request the four parties from the coalition to submit three names from each party for the consideration of the prime ministers,” Tun Dr Mahathir said in a press conference at the Bersatu headquarters today, 12 May.
