Local Makeup Team Suffers Backlash After Doing A "Review" On Meghan Markle's Wedding Look
Following criticism, the makeup team issued a statement to "clear any air of possible misconceptions".
A Malaysian bridal makeup team recently "reviewed" the appearance of the new Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle during her wedding
The team decided to give a "small review" of Meghan's makeup look during her wedding to Prince Harry.
"Way too much freckles showing," the team wrote in an Instagram story, before adding comments about other areas of Meghan's face and hairdo.
The team then suggested more makeup artists who "can do this sort of makeup very well"
The team alleged that the makeup artists suggested are capable of doing natural makeup.
"Way better than the above we swear," the team added, in reference to Meghan's look.
Meghan's wedding dress was also criticised by the team in another Instagram story.
"We think the dress was such a poor fit as well," the team wrote.
One netizen approached the makeup team following their string of Instagram stories
The netizen told the team about his dissatisfaction with the "review" of Meghan's freckles. Nonetheless, the team replied to him by saying that everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
The netizen also penned a lengthy Facebook post lamenting the team's "review".
"The posts did not only shame her for her freckles but also heavily highlighted that it was an undesirable choice to have it shown," he criticised in the post.
The post has garnered over a thousand shares and comments since Wednesday.

One netizen wrote that Meghan was beautiful in her makeup, and criticised the team for their Instagram stories.
"The way (she or he) has condemned Meghan Markle's makeup makes me wonder about (her or his) professionalism," another netizen wrote.
She also stressed that she would not hire the makeup team.
One netizen also wrote that she would not hire the makeup team for her wedding, labelling the team as "unprofessional".
In response to criticism, the makeup team has issued a statement claiming they were not shaming or insulting Meghan in any way:
