A gunman walked into a house in Kampung Selamat here Monday night where funeral prayers were being held and shot to death a man and injured another, police said.

Seberang Perai Utara Police chief ACP Abdul Rahman Ibrahim said the dead man had been identified as Lee Wooi Shong, 34, who went by the nickname of 'Kastam'. He said Lee was shot in the back of the head and body in the incident which occurred at 10.45 pm, and he died at the Kepala Batas Hospital at 2.20 am Tuesday.
