Netizens were excited when photos circulating on social media revealed that an AEON supermarket is selling various kinds of meal kits, where fresh essential ingredients for a meal are pre-measured and packed together and sold in a set.

It is said that the photos were taken at the AEON outlet in Mid Valley Megamall.

Based on the photos, it looks like there's a wide range of options to choose from - from ayam goreng kunyit (turmeric fried chicken) to mee hailam and siakap stim lemon (sea bass steamed with lemon).

What's even better is that these pre-packaged ingredients come together with a recipe for you to follow

Each pack features pre-measured fresh ingredients needed to prepare the selected meal and it also comes with simple step-by-step instructions, which is especially helpful for those who usually do not cook.

This is definitely a great idea to reduce the time and stress that usually goes into preparing a home-cooked meal

Some of the netizens also said that this a great way to reduce wastage as the ingredients that are packed together are already in the "perfect" portion or amount, which means that people don't have to throw away any of the ingredients since it is unlikely that there will be any leftovers.

Many Malaysians were really impressed, with some even saying that there is "no reason to not cook" now
