Man Drives Car Straight Into Hospital Emergency Unit After His Dad Suffered A Heart Attack
No injuries occurred during the incident.
Late last night, 4 September, a shirtless man drove his car straight into the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital's (HRPB) emergency unit
His father had suffered a heart attack and the man was in a state of panic, which made him take drastic measures in the 11.30pm incident, according to Perak police chief Mior Faridalathrash Wahid.
"After he stopped his car inside the building, he screamed for help before he was calmed down by hospital staff. He was then asked to move his car to the designated parking space," he was quoted as saying by Harian Metro today, 5 September.
No injuries occurred during the incident
"There were no collisions, injuries, other than damage to public property following the incident. (Also) no police report was made by any party about it," Mior further stated.
The man's father is reported to be in a stable condition now
He is still being treated at the hospital.
Earlier, a 54 -second video of the incident went viral.
It showed grey Perodua Kelisa, entering the foyer of the HRPB building near the HRPB emergency unit. The video also showed the man carrying his father before placing him in a wheelchair.
