While trying to park, a man accidentally rammed his car into a bank in Pahang

Jerantut district police chief Supt Mazlan Hassan told Sinar Harian that the incident took place yesterday, 7 October, and it involved a 29-year-old who was driving a Proton Persona.

It is believed that the driver accidentally stepped on the accelerator while trying to park right in front of the bank.

The crash then broke the glass wall at the bank's front entrance.

A witness who was present at the scene said that it all happened in a few seconds and left everyone in shock.

50-year-old Anuar Abdullah said that he was waiting in line to use the automated teller machine (ATM) at the bank when he suddenly heard a loud bang and the sound of glass breaking.

He told Kosmo! that customers ran out of the bank out of fear for their safety and he heard someone yell, "Allahuakbar!"

"Thankfully, during the incident, all the customers were inside the bank and no one was out on the pavement. It's just that the glass wall broke and no one was hurt," he added.
