A man who was recently released from prison is believed to have set his family house on fire after failing to get money from his mother

According to Berita Harian, the incident took place at Kampung Bukit Kapar, Klang on Tuesday, 12 October.

North Klang district police chief S Vijaya Rao said the suspect met his mother not far from the location of the incident to ask for money but she refused.

"Before leaving, the suspect made a threat to his mother that he would burn down the house if his mother did not give him money," said Vijaya Rao.
