Her son, Prakash Suppiah, 30, said doctors at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) told him that his mother did not sustain any broken bones from the fall.
Her death certificate stated the cause as “chest injury due to fall from high” (sic).
“My mother suffered from high-blood pressure, diabetes and heart-blockage, but she had no problems working,” Prakash said.
“Ask anyone and they would know her. It really puzzles me how she fell down the shaft,” he added.
