Video Shows A Man Repeatedly Slapping Young Boy During School Function

A video circulating on social media depicts a man, believed to be a teacher, repeatedly physically abusing a young boy
The 42-second video, posted on Facebook by multiple accounts yesterday, 13 December, shows the man reprimanding the boy on a stage set at a school celebration in Kuala Terengganu.
The footage is believed to have been discreetly recorded by an attendee.
In the video, the man can be seen aggressively shoving and pushing the boy while hitting his head.
Meanwhile, another video shows the same man kicking a different boy on the leg, reported the New Straits Times.
The video has sparked widespread anger and concern online
"Which school is this teacher from? I hope the Education Ministry terminates his service; you can't just [hit] someone's head like that. As an educationist, you should be an example," commented one Facebook user.
Another called for a police report to be lodged against the man.
While the majority of social media users condemned the man's actions, others questioned why the attendees failed to intervene and stop him from hitting the boys.
