Over 500 People In The Klang Valley Tested Positive For COVID-19 Within A Single Day

Cases in the Klang Valley make up 43% of the total cases recorded nationwide today.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) just announced that 567 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Klang Valley on 13 November

The total number of COVID-19 cases reported in Malaysia is 1,304.

However, cases reported within Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya make up 43% of the total.

Between the different states and federal territories within the Klang Valley, Selangor recorded the most number of COVID-19 cases within a day

As of 12pm on Friday, 13 November, the state health department found that a total of 364 people are infected with the coronavirus disease.

Currently, there is a total of 1,788 active cases with patients receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the state.

The district with the most active cases so far is Klang with 582 cases, followed by Hulu Langat with 443 cases, and Petaling with 353 cases.

MOH also noted that three particular clusters are the reason behind the spike in today's numbers

They are the Damanlela construction site cluster with 191 positive cases, the Hentian cluster with 164 cases, as well as the Perigi cluster with 82 cases.
