RapidKL praised commuters for practising social distancing and abiding by standard operating procedures (SOP).

Earlier this morning, the RapidKL official Twitter account wrote, "Thank you everybody for keeping a safe social distance while using public transport."

They also added that the crowd began to grow at 8am but the situation was under control

Officials can be seen performing temperature checks and making sure that people keep a safe distance while lining up to board the train.

Meanwhile, traffic was quite heavy along the Federal Highway at 11am

New Straits Times shared photos of the congested highway along with a caption that read, "Here's something KL folks have not seen in a while. Traffic along the Federal Highway begins to build up as the Conditional Movement Control Order kicks off today."

"If you're out there, be sure to stay safe, maintain a healthy distance from others, and wash your hands frequently," they added.
