Police Arrest 4 Men And 1 Teen For Raping A 12-Year-Old Student In Terengganu
The suspects are between the ages of 16 and 23.

A group of men including one teenager in Terengannu have been arrested for raping a minor
According to Bernama, Dungun district police chief Supt Baharuddin Abdullah confirmed the arrest was made after the victim's mother filed a police report on Saturday, 10 October.
He said the suspects, between the ages of 16 and 23, were apprehended around 5.30am yesterday.
The victim was riding a motorcycle alone on the way to pick up her mother when she was suddenly approached by two men who asked her to stop the vehicle
Baharuddin explained to Harian Metro that the incident took place on 29 September, around 9pm.
He said, "One of the suspects, a person the victim knew, then got on the victim's motorcycle and took her to a palm oil plantation."
"The victim found the suspect's behaviour peculiar and tried to call someone for help but her phone was confiscated before she was raped by the two suspects," he added.
After that, three other friends of the suspects arrived at the scene and also raped the victim.
The ordeal was only exposed after the victim's mother noticed a change in the 12-year-old's behaviour and took her to the hospital
Sinar Harian reported that the victim was taken to Dungun Hospital for checks and the case is currently being investigated under Section 375 (b) of the Penal Code.
All five suspects will be under remand for a week starting yesterday.
