The weather has been really hot recently and it can be dangerous to leave electronics unprotected in a car that’s parked under the sun
Thankfully, quick-thinking passers-by prevented the fire from spreading to other parts of the vehicle
According to a witness who declined to be named, he saw thick smoke emanating from the car's windows. He peeked in and saw a powerbank on the front seat on fire.
With the help of other passers-by, they splashed water through a small opening of the window to put out the fire.
The Perlis fire department said the fire had been put out when they arrived at the scene
"Checks showed that only 10 per cent of the car was damaged by in the fire and the cause of the fire is still under investigation," he said.
