They stopped beside Mr Amirul Tajo and the pillion rider opened fire just as the victim was about to pay for his food. The stall owner’s daughter, who was collecting money from the victim, was injured after a bullet hit her right leg.
A housewife, Nor Hadiyana Zakaria, a shop assistant there was shot in the leg and was admitted to the orthapaedic ward at the same hospital.
Police says this could be linked to drug trafficking activities
He added that police found 10 9mm bullet shells at the scene and witnesses said the suspects wore black helmets and jackets.

The victim’s wife was quoted as saying that her husband had told her that a man had hired someone to kill him.
Speaking to reporters at her home at Kampung Teosan here, she claimed that her husband did not have any enemies and did not know why someone would want to kill him.
