A temple caretakee made a chilling find at 7.30am in an Indian temple in Johor - he saw a group of men conducting sacrifical rituals using a severed man's head. The severed head was a homeless Indian, believe to be in his 60's. The picture of the man's decapitated head placed on top of a pedestel used to burn camphor has been widely spread on Facebook, spurring an arguement about the hindu religion and sacrifical rituals. Temple caretaker finds severed head in temple

In what is believed to be a macabre ritual, the severed head of a homeless man was found inside a Hindu temple at an oil palm plantation in Kluang, Johor.

Abdul Majid said the man was a homeless drunk and had been sleeping around temples after his wife and children moved to Johor Baharu.

Police says worship is definitely the motive

"Initial investigation revealed that the man, believed to be in his 60s, was killed elsewhere before his head was decapitated and taken to the 70-year-old temple for worship.

“We believe the suspects had used a sharp weapon to behead the victim. We also believe the man was murdered about eight hours before his head was discovered."
