2. Penang State Welfare, Caring Society and Environment - In kind
The Penang government is calling for generous contributions of essential goods to help states stricken by floods.
"As of now, we urgently need bottled water, milk powder and sanitary pads for the 50-odd relief centres in Perak. We have also packed some 10,000 pieces of recycled clothing to be distributed to those displaced," he said when contacted today.
Those interested to contribute can head to the Caring Society Complex (Kompleks Penyayang) at Jalan Utama in George Town or call the Penang Welfare Department at 04-6505259.
Alternatively, the public can also channel their donations to the respective district Welfare Department offices at:-
Balik Pulau - Kompleks Pasar Awam MPPP.
Kepala Batas - Wisma Persekutuan, Jalan Bertam, Kepala Batas.

Pertubuhan Belia Sinar Kasih Petaling, which has been collecting items such as blankets, clothes, gas cookers and drinking water.
The group's coordinator, Mohd Hafiizh Mohd Mokhtar, said the public can donate cash or goods at its drop point at the Petaling Jaya Multi Purpose Hall in Bandar Utama 3 (BU3).
Those who wish to donate may do so at its drop point at Bandar Utama 3 or through its Bank Islam account no: 12140010005892, under the name of Pertubuhan Belia Sinar Kasih Petaling.
5. Society Of PSP Selangor - In cash and kind
Volunteers from Society of PSP, are now setting up a collection centre to gather some basic needs for the Kelantan Kuala Krai flood victims. They will be sending donated items to the rescue centre at Kuala Krai.
How to help:
Following are the supports that the society needs:
1) 250 cartons of 5L mineral water
2) 100 packs of 10Kg rice
3) 10 cartons of 10kg biscuits
4) A 10-tonne lorry driver
Cash donation is also accepted and receipts will be issued.

10. Democratic Action Party (DAP) - In cash
DAP national organising secretary Anthony Loke said the DAP central leadership will allocate RM10,000 to kickstart the fund and that every DAP elected representative has been directed to launch donation drives starting this weekend in their respective constituencies.
Loke said all donations collected will be deposited into a special account: “Tabung Dana Kecemasan” (Ambank 8881002244649).
11. Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) - In cash
Contributions to the Harakah disaster fund can be paid to Maybank account 564070130442.

12. Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) - In cash
PKR Youth is working to raise funds to assist victims in flood-hit states including Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Perak.
Wing chief Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad said at least RM10,000 worth of monies or items are needed for the purpose.
