Pervert Flashed His Privates And Repeatedly Punched A Student In Her Face
The incident happened right in front of the victim's house in Tanjung Puteri Indah, Johor.
2017 was off to a bad start for a college student when she received 14 stitches to her face following a horrifying incident with a pervert
20-year-old Rochell Waynee Ubong was out with her friends in Kampung Pasir Putih, Johor for a fun outing and was on her way home on Sunday, 1 January.
The happy outing came to a tragic end when the college student arrived home to Tanjung Puteri Indah, Johor and ran into a pervert right outside of her house.
The man reportedly unzipped his pants then flashed his privates at Rochell.
That was not the end of the ordeal as the pervert ran after Rochell who tried to escape from the scene. The man caught her and repeatedly punched her in the face.
"When I arrived in front of my house, a man in his 30s appeared. What shocked me was that the man took off his trousers and flashed his privates."
"I was stunned and tried to run into the house but he yanked my handbag. He then proceeded to hit me in the face three times," she told Malay daily Harian Metro.
Thankfully, her parents rushed out from their house to her rescue after hearing her loud screams
Unfortunately, the culprit had fled the scene when help arrived.
"By then, the man had already escaped," Rochell reportedly said.
"I'm still traumatised by the incident and it happened so fast. I just want the public, especially women, to be extra careful whenever they walk alone."
It was reported that Rochell received medical treatment at a nearby clinic and proceeded to lodge a report at the Masai police station.
The police are on the hunt for the man who assaulted Rochell
According to Seri Alam police chief Superintendent Jokhiri Abd Aziz, the police will be conducting a thorough investigation to hunt down the man involved to ensure the safety of the public, especially in the vicinity of the incident.
"The police advise people, especially women, to be more careful when walking alone. In fact, if you had seen any suspicious individuals, immediately report it to the police," he told Harian Metro when contacted.
The case is being investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code.
