Caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said that Malays have not showed up at Pakatan Harapan's ceramahs during a live interview last night, 7 May

"If we see, the opposition ceramah are in towns and those present are not Malays," Najib was quoted as saying by Malaysiakini

"Most of them are DAP supporters," he added during the interview on TV3 last night.

On top of that, Najib alleged that Pakatan Harapan send busloads of supporters from areas beyond the location of their ceramahs

"That is why I said, at my gatherings, I don't need big crowds," Najib said in reference to the attendees of Barisan Nasional ceramahs.

"I'd rather have 10,000 locals than 20,000 people who are from outside," he added.

Najib also dismissed the battle for political support as a "social media game", and claimed that BN's approval remains strong

"This is not the social media game. This is the reality on the ground. Our political base is still strong," Najib was quoted as saying by Malaysiakini, after claiming that he sees the "real situation" from his visits and the reports he has received.

"We know where our strengths are, and we also know where our weaknesses are," he added.

Furthermore, Najib urged people not to be convinced by sentiments of government change, as it would not necessarily benefit the country

"For instance, the Arab Spring - they claimed they were changing the government considered to be a dictatorship in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, and so on," Najib was quoted as saying by Free Malaysia Today, before adding that those countries are now destroyed because youths believed in bringing about change without a clear direction.

"So let's change for the better, and I see the BN agenda is better than the opposition's," he said.

"That's why we have implemented the national transformation policy, so we transform the country without changing the leadership," he added.
