Najib & Mahathir To Battle It Out By Delivering Their Final GE14 Address At The Same Time

The stakes are higher than ever as Malaysia goes to the polls tomorrow, 9 May
Barisan Nasional (BN), the ruling coalition led by caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, is seeking to secure a stronger mandate and regain its two-thirds parliamentary majority in the 14th general election.
On the other hand, the Pakatan Harapan coalition led by the former premier of Malaysia for 22 years, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, is hoping to defeat the ruling coalition for the first time in history.
In one last bid to win voters, both Najib and Mahathir will be delivering their respective speeches at 10pm tonight, 8 May
Najib is scheduled to address the nation in a special broadcast programme that will be aired nationwide.

Meanwhile, Mahathir will deliver his final campaign speech in Langkawi, the constituency he is contesting in for GE14.
His speech will be broadcasted live via his official Facebook account and sites such as Ubah.tv, and it will also be shown at other political rallies across the country, as the PH chairman targets to reach an audience of 10 million voters.
As Najib and Mahathir battle for the nation's attention, several local media have reported that a mega-concert would also be held in Langkawi tonight
Malay Mail reported that the concert, co-organised by the Finance Ministry and the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), will feature veteran Singapore singer-songwriter Datuk Ramli Sarip and other popular local artists including Joe Flizzow, and Dayang Nurfaizah, among others.
According to Malaysiakini, the concert not only boasts of an attractive performer lineup, but there are also prizes up for grabs at the event that is free to all.
