Three men, including a Form Four student, believed drunk, were detained by the police for damaging a police patrol car at Teluk Cempedak just after midnight on Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve celebrations turned ugly at the famous Teluk Chempedak beach here on Tuesday night when a group of revellers attacked a police patrol car with stones and mineral bottles, and sprayed soapy foam.

The Incident Happened At Midnight On 25 December 2013 When The Three Began Spraying Soapy Foam At Passing Motorists
The incident unfolded about midnight when the trio, aged between 16 and 23, along with several others began disturbing motorists passing through the stretch near the beach here by spraying soapy foam.

Pahang CID deputy chief Supt Mohd Haris Daud said the mobile patrol vehicle had been dispatched to the popular tourist destination following a report that several vehicles in the area had been damaged.
An Additional Patrol Vehicle Arrived To Pick Up The Youths After Police Called For Back Up
When a police patrol car arrived at the scene, the three suspects began to spray foam, and pelt it with stones and mineral water bottles.
Police called for back-up and another patrol vehicle arrived to pick up the youths.

Kuantan deputy police chief Supt Abdul Aziz Ahmad said police who were informed of the incident at 12.04am rushed to the scene and found a crowd of party revellers celebrating Christmas, with some of them hurling empty cans and bottles at a police patrol car there.
The Three, Aged 16 to 23, Are Believed To Be Drunk During The Incident. The Youngest Suspect Is A Form Four Student.
He said the student, aged 16, a 23-year-old restaurant employee and a 20 year-old were detained following the incident.
The Three Suspects Have Been Remanded, But More Arrests May Follow
The suspects, including a Form Four student, had no past criminal records and had been remanded till tomorrow. He said more arrests may follow.
