"Don't touch my grandma! Go away, don't touch my grandma!" screams out a 3-year-old, holding a steel pipe almost thrice his size, wielding it like a weapon and using all his strength to push away several urban management officers who were trying to remove an illegal street stall operated by the miniature hero's grandma

The video, short, simple and cute, went immediately viral. While it's unclear exactly when or where in China the footage was filmed, it has earned the boy plenty of compliments from Chinese netizens for his brazen contempt towards authorities. Watch the video here:

Notice how the boy is enraged even more as bystanders can't help but laugh.

However, while the whole video is equal mixes of adorable and amazing, it's virality has also prompted instructions from Chinese authorities for it to be removed from all websites, reports CDT

CDT (China Digital Times), which seeks to bring out uncensored news about the country, posted the following censorship instructions, issued to the media by the Chinese government authorities:

"Child Grasps Steel Pipe to Resist Chengguan” video, pictures, and news reports must all be removed from main news sections. News that unfavorably portrays the law enforcement community must be released with caution."

So why are the Chinese authorities so worried?

According to CDT, the Chengguan local law enforcement officers "have long been the target of public scorn for their tendency to use excessive force."

Chengguan, which is an urban management force that enforces rules on city sanitation, landscaping, parking, etc., have been often accused of brutality and harassment. Back in December 2013, a street vendor was allegedly being beaten to death with his own measuring weight, which led to the sentencing of four Chengguan officers.

Street vendors, in particular, have frequently been the target of Chengguan violence, therefore, it's no surprise that the kid's grandma also happens to be one.

They fear, keenly aware of the power of viral videos, that even a cute video of a 3-year-old standing up to adult men could inspire others to do the same. That it would help spread discontentment about the excessive force used by local authorities.

On the other hand, apparently no one in China seems to care about a young boy being chloroformed and dragged away:
