[VIDEO] Ambulance Calls Out White Honda For Dangerously Tailgating It On Federal Highway
"These are the kind of humans who only care about themselves, following an ambulance and putting other road users at risk," they said.
An ambulance service provider has condemned a driver for tailgating one of its ambulances on the Federal Highway and shared a video of the dangerous behaviour on TikTok
The video, posted by GPM Ambulance, shows a white Honda closely tailing the ambulance with its hazard lights on, weaving through traffic that had cleared the way for the emergency vehicle.
"These are the kind of humans who only care about themselves, following an ambulance and putting other road users at risk," said GPM Ambulance.
The incident reportedly occurred at 5.15pm on Sunday, 1 December, on the Federal Highway from Shah Alam heading to Klang.
The video has since gone viral, garnering over 160,000 views, with netizens also denouncing the driver's reckless behaviour
Some questioned whether the driver could be a family member of the patient inside the ambulance.
However, many pointed out that no vehicle should ever tailgate an ambulance, regardless of the circumstances.
"Actually, even if you are a relative, only one next of kin is allowed to sit in the ambulance. The rest will have to take another mode of transport, and definitely not this way.
"They'll have to drive as usual. If they get into an accident like this, it'll be difficult for everyone," posited a TikTok user.
