A Foreign Worker Was Violently Bashed Up While A 'Bersih 5 Man' Just Stood And Watched
A video recording of a man being beaten by another man using a bamboo stick went viral on social media.
A man suffered a violent beating recently when he was repeatedly assaulted with something that appeared to be a bamboo stick
It is believed that the attacker was an employer and was enraged after he found out that the victim, a foreign worker, was slacking off during working hours.
A video recording which captured the graphic details of the violent incident has been circulating on social media since yesterday, 28 November.
Thousands of people have shared the video on Facebook, including the likes of Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM) vice-president Huan Cheng Guan and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) community page.
The graphic content was difficult to fathom for many
The video recording shows the attacker, wearing a blue t-shirt, using a bamboo stick to beat up the other man.
The victim tried to avoid the attacks and begged his boss to stop beating him.
However, the attacker continued assaulting him and was even seen taking off his sling bag before continuing to cane the victim.
The victim retreated to the corner of the room, as he continued to suffer violent beatings. He helplessly endured the torture as his appeals to stop the beatings fell on deaf ears.
While all this was happening, another man who was wearing what looks like a Bersih 5 T-shirt, appeared to be just observing the incident the whole time
This man stood beside the attacker idly most of the time and did nothing to stop the beating.
It was noted that the man held the bamboo stick at the beginning of the video before the attacker took it away from his hands and used it as a weapon to assault the victim.
Netizens have slammed such violent conducts and they have urged the police to take action against the culprits
Further details of the incident have yet to be ascertained, but many insisted that this incident should not be made as a matter to instigate racism.
They stressed that all crimes must be investigated and the perpetrators, including the onlooker, should be brought to justice as soon as possible.
