On Friday morning, 1 January, several motorcyclists were captured on the dashcam of a vehicle that showed them falling on Jalan Kuching

The incident, in which the riders appeared to have escaped without any major injuries, happened at around 9.23am, according to the timestamp of the dashcam footage that has since gone viral.

The riders were on Jalan Kuching heading to Kuala Lumpur city centre, before the Segambut roundabout, when they appeared to lose the balance of their motorcycles and fell amidst the moving traffic.

In the footage, four riders were seen falling on the road, which appeared to have been slippery due to a possible oil spill and rain

Fortunately for the riders, the vehicle with the dashcam was not speeding despite being on the fast lane. In the footage, the vehicle is seen slowing down as soon as the rider closest to it slips.

Following the incident, a man, believed to be the driver of the vehicle with the dashcam, appears in the frame to help one of the riders

Other motorists are seen slowing down while the rest of the riders manage to get up.

The traffic continues to move as more riders are seen entering the frame. The footage ends.

At the time of this writing, the video had received almost a thousand shares.
