:')
Yesterday, 19 June, a Malaysian teacher shared mobile footage of a girl giving a special needs student a piggyback ride during rain in order to protect her from the downpour and get to the class safely
Uploaded on a Facebook group called "Autisme Malaysia" by Maslika Ramli on Wednesday, the video has received close to 2k Reactions so far.
In the comment section, members of the group expressed how touched they were.
The senior girl is seen carrying her autistic schoolmate on her back while holding an umbrella to protect both of them
In the caption of the video, Maslika wrote that she was especially moved because the girl who helped was a student from one of the top classes in the school.
"I'm sharing this video because I want parents of children with special needs to be confident and believe that there are people who will look out for your kids.
"Truly, they are Allah's gift to us all, helping us in any way they can," the teacher wrote.
"Hopefully many more students will be like this," read one of the over 175 comments posted by a group member Mauie Fieya Anuar
"Congratulations to the parents and teachers who taught this student to have such a good demeanour," Mauie further wrote in her comment under the video.
"Omg. She's very kind. The teachers and school principal should be informed about the student so she can be awarded as an example to other students," wrote Lisa Irina.
