A video showing a disabled man climbing down a drain to rescue a kitten in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah has gone viral
Abu Fathiyyaturahma Menk AbdunMujtahid shared his selfless act in a Facebook post on 11 August that has since gathered over 2,500 likes and 1,300 shares.
According to the man, he and his friend were on their way to Likas Sports Complex when they caught sight of a kitten completely drenched and hanging onto the wall of the drain.
In the two-minute long video, Abu could be seen getting off his wheelchair so that he could climb down the slope of the drain
When he finally made it to the end of the slope, he gently picked the feline up and placed it on the grass.
The kitten then hurried away while the man slowly made his way back to the wheelchair.
