Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) member Datuk Seri Saravanan Murugan has confirmed Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob's statement that Barisan Nasional (BN) will be forming the opposition

"We unanimously decided to form the opposition. We aren't supporting nor are we joining any coalition," Saravanan told BFM News reporters, today, 22 November.

His comments about the current status of the BN coalition comes after Ismail Sabri posted his statement on Twitter, announcing BN's decision to remain as the opposition.

Malaysia still faces a hung parliament until the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, makes a decision today.
