35-year-old man pleads guilty to raping 11-year-old sister-in-law

A 35-year-old man has pleaded guilty over two charges of raping his 11-year-old sister-in-law. The unemployed man made the plea at the Seremban Sessions Court on 30 November, the New Straits Times reported.

According to the report, he had allegedly raped the minor at a house in Port Dickson on 1 September 1 and 23 November this year. Accused could be jailed for a term not less than five years and maximum 30 years.

He shall also be liable to whipping if convicted under Section 376 of the Penal Code.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Raya Wan Noora Nisa Ngadirin prosecuted while the accused was unrepresented. The court fixed Dec 30 to deliver judgment.

According to a report in Harian Metro, a 35-year-old man who had been married for a month to a 14-year-old girl raped his wife's 11-year-old sister.

The newlywed man coerced his teenage wife, who is said to be mentally challenged, to record the act as he raped his 11-year-old sister-in-law in her family's house at Telok Kemang in Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan, on Monday, 23 November.

The unemployed man made the video to be sold to his friends for quick money, according to an unidentified source

The source said the matter came to light when the recording was circulated through WhatsApp and somehow found its way to the victim's father who then confronted his daughter.

The 11-year-old girl, who told her father she had been raped on multiple occasions over the previous month, wasn't the only victim

The man had raped his 14-year-old wife before they were married. The father then made a police report at Port Dickson Police Station and subsequently officers detained the man and his wife for questioning, a police spokesman confirmed to The Star Online.
