Winter Has Arrived In Bangkok As Temperatures Are Expected To Dip As Low As 14°C
The cool season is expected to last until February.

According to weather agencies in Thailand, temperatures in the Thai capital are expected to dip between 14 and 17 degrees Celcius (°C) in the morning from Tuesday, 19 December to Thursday, 21 December
Quoting the Met Department, Bangkok Post reported that a "strong high pressure system had moved into the northeast of the country", and is expected to extend across the country's northern, central, and eastern regions.
According to Channel NewsAsia, the department also said that temperatures across northern Thailand, including Bangkok, will initially drop by 6°C to 8°C. Following another wave of high pressure from China, temperatures will drop further by 2°C to 3°C.
Thai online portal The Nation reported that the Don Mueng district in Bangkok recorded 15°C on Tuesday morning
Bangkok Post added that temperatures in Thailand's Nan province could even fall to as low as 5°C in the coming days.
According to Coconuts Bangkok, winter is expected to last until February.
Meanwhile, netizens in Bangkok are pretty delighted about the cool temperatures, which they say is a welcome reprieve from the usual hot and humid weather
