Police says they have identified the burglers
Police have come out with photofits of the suspects allegedly involved in the break-in of Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar’s home, over the weekend.

Empat lelaki menceroboh kediaman Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar di Jalan Setiabestari, Bukit Damansara di sini kelmarin dan melarikan beberapa unit komputer riba dan jam tangan.
Malaysian Sports and Youth Ministy Khairy Jamaluddin, became victim to burglary on Saturday. Khairy confirmed the incident on Facebook that his home in Bukit Damansara was broken into.

Four robbers climbed the side wall into the compound and unlocked the front door of the bungalow

Image via imgur.comAccording to City CID chief Datuk Ku Chin Wah, the Jalan Setiabistari residence was broken into by three robbers who were driving a Proton Waja. The robbers scaled a perimeter wall, entering it via the unlocked front door.

Three men scaled the wall of the bungalow in Jalan Setiabistari, Bukit Damansara, at about 5.30pm before breaking in through the front door.

At the time of the incident, only the maid was present. “The maid was too terrified to do anything. She said they also ransacked the master bedroom,” said Ku.

The maid, who was in the kitchen, only realised that the bungalow was broken into when she noticed the front door was wide open. She could only watch as the four burglars ransacked the master bedroom and left minutes later.
The robbers took watches and laptops worth RM24,000
Sources said a laptop and watches were among the items, worth RM24,000, that the thieves took in the 10pm incident.

Ku said investigations revealed that one of the burglars had rummaged through the master bedroom. "The burglars made off with several branded watches and laptops. The total losses have yet to be determined."
