Indonesian football fans allegedly threw multiple flares at Malaysian fans during last night's football match at Stadium Bukit Jalil, KL
The first flare was reportedly thrown when Harimau Malaya scored their first goal
The second flare was thrown at Malaysian supporters when the match ended
A commotion broke out in front of Entrance E of the stadium after the match
The Federal Reserve Unit controlled the situation soon after the commotion arose.
Cheras district police chief ACP Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon confirmed the incident, saying they arrested 41 people, reported Bernama.
Among them, 27 were Malaysian fans while 14 others were Indonesian fans.
"They were later released after the documentation process was completed," Malay Mail quoted Mohamed Mokhsein as saying.
He said the investigations into the matter are ongoing.

Free Malaysia Today reported that Malaysian fans had projectiles hurled at them when Malaysia won 3-2 against Indonesia in September.
Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who was at the Gelora Bung Karno stadium then, said some Indonesian football fans tried to barge into the area reserved for Malaysian fans.
