1. On 17 March, a new Malaysian-owned airline called 'flymojo' was launched at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) 2015 exhibition

2. According to information available to the Rakyat Post, flymojo is owned by Fly Mojo UK Ltd, registered in 2013 in London

3. However, a flymojo spokesperson said the new airline is fully Malaysian-owned. Details about flymojo's owners wasn't disclosed.

4. The company behind the airline said it has signed a deal with Canadian plane-maker Bombardier Inc. to buy 20 CS100 aircraft for about RM5.44 billion

While the agreement is good news for Bombardier, it's development of the CSeries, a new flagship jetliner, has been marred by extended delays and technical issues.

5. CS100 aircrafts are designed to be 20% more fuel-efficient than similarly sized planes. They are specifically designed for the 100 to 149 seat, single-aisle market.

6. Flymojo will be based out of Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu. It's all set to begin flying in the first quarter of 2016.

"It's for those who have flown low cost and wants more but not paying full premium. We price ourselves between full service and hybrid," the Malaysian Reserve reported via its source.
