Microsoft has announced a new feature for the Windows 11 Photos app

The feature, Generative Erase, allows users to remove unwanted objects from their images. 

The addition of Generative Erase is part of a series of AI-based enhancements to the Windows 11 Photos app

It includes features such as background blur and photo-identifying search.

Microsoft Clipchamp, a video editing software, is also receiving an upgrade, featuring a Silence Removal tool

This feature for the video-editing app is set to roll out for preview in the coming weeks, with broad availability expected by April 2024.
