Nintendo has revealed gameplay footage for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, launching on the Switch 2 in November this year
The game, which launches on 5 November for the Nintendo Switch 2 and features enhanced graphics, a dedicated jump button, and a quirky microphone feature for playing the ocarina.
In a video, series producer Eiji Aonuma said the visual overhaul for the well-loved 1998 classic leans closer to realism than Breath of the Wild.

Recent gameplay footage showed off iconic locations like Kokiri Forest and Castle Town, along with some brilliant modern enhancements
Gone are the days of awkward auto-jumping, as players now have a dedicated jump button. The camera is also completely free-moving, allowing you to take in the sprawling scenery effortlessly.
Swimming mechanics have been drastically improved too. Link can now dive underwater and swim properly, entirely eliminating the need to constantly equip the heavy Iron Boots.
Our hero can also roll seamlessly into a sprint, allowing him to traverse the map much faster.

In a surprisingly quirky addition, players can sing, hum, or play real notes directly into the Switch 2 microphone or use an exclusive ocarina designed for the game
Aonuma demonstrated all three methods with Link replicating the tunes on his ocarina in the game.
The clever feature means players no longer have to memorise complex button combinations for Link's handy melodies, provided they can hold a tune themselves.
The exclusive ocarina will also be available for purchase when the remake releases on 5 November.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was first teased in June and the recent Nintendo Direct presentation is our first real dive into the project's scope
During the recent presentation, Aonuma provided some insight into the title's overall direction.
"It is a faithful interpretation using modern technologies," he said, reassuring fans that the core experience remains intact.
"It has a different appeal from other [Zelda games] like Breath of the Wild," Aonuma added, confirming the game stays true to the classic.
