What's With HTC Quietly Releasing The HTC One Max GOLD Edition In Taiwan?
A gold color HTC One Max quietly launched in its homeland Taiwan. The new color scheme for the phablet joins the red and black versions which were released earlier this month.
Following the footsteps of its smaller 4.7″ HTC One sibling, HTC has quietly released a gold edition of its 5.9″ HTC One Max in Taiwan
It was made available for order right before Christmas and joins its existing Silver, Black, Blue & Red colours
The phablet’s new color scheme is the same as the one of the mass-market gold HTC One which launched in late November
It is finished in gold-colored aluminum, not 18 or 24 carat gold we’ve seen the HTC One Max’s smaller sibling get treated to.
gsmarena.comThe change of colour doesn't bring a change of specifications
To remind you all, like the HTC One Gold edition, the pricing is expected to remain the same and it retains the same hardware of a 5.9-inch Full HD Super LCD 3 display, 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.5 UI, which features HTC BlinkFeed and HTC Zoe.
soyacincau.comOther specifications include 4MP Ultrapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2.1MP front facing camera, 16GB/32GB internal storage with 64GB microSD card expansion, 3,300 mAh battery and finger-print scanner on the back.
techdroid.inSo far no word on its international availability as it seems to be exclusive to Taiwan at the moment
In comparison, its smaller 4.7″ HTC One Gold edition was released for the European market.
